
Martin is a Professional Executive coach, Consultant, Facilitator and Trainer working in the corporate sector and with private individuals. He combines his bright personality, extraordinary communications and relationship skills and twenty seven years successful corporate business experience to offer his clients measurable, sustainable results in the areas of personal and corporate change and development.
Martin is a qualified Executive Coach and Trainer and specialises in teaching and practising Neuro Linguistic Tools and Techniques in addition to exploring altered states of consciousness.
Married with two children and currently living in Hampshire England, Martin was born in 1955 and has spent a total of twenty four years in the Telecommunications industry.
Beginning as an engineering apprentice with Ansafone ltd Martin worked on the production line, in quality assurance and finally as a design engineer and programme manager before deciding to change career and join the Racal group of companies as part of the sales team.
People, and therefore communications and relationships, have always been significant in Martin’s life and career and the move to Racal was the first step in his enhancing his skills in these areas. Joining Racal as an Internal Sales Engineer it wasn’t long before Martin combined his engineering knowledge and consummate relationship building skills to win significant orders and be asked to join the external sales team.
Over the next Twenty Years Martin worked for various Racal companies as he progressed through his sales career to become a consultant (Working with companies such as PWC , Delloitte and Touche, ICL and varying Government departments including the Armed services, Police HMCE and many others.)
A successful sales and consultancy career (with all the awards, plaudits and results expected in that field) led to Martin joining the ranks of senior management and taking on fresh challenges building and developing teams, solving change issues(not least of which cross cultural relationships), mentoring individuals and finally deciding to change career.
Martin took additional training to enhance his well developed skill sets and enable him to begin a professional career in coaching, training and change management (having already been using these skills in Racal and finally Global Crossing).
Martin has his own business having previously held the post of Training Director for a Corporate Coaching and Training company. He has spent the last Six years coaching and training in many of the marketplace’s he had been a consultant and has been (and continues to work with) the Investment Banking, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Electronic, Telecommunications, Government and Police sectors as a coach, trainer, facilitator and consultant. Martin also works with selected personal clients.
Martin sees his career and his personal life as co-existing with each other. His love and passion for the fields in which he now works mean that he can be found with his head in a book or working with his students when he isn’t advancing his own personal development.
In addition to this use of his time he has not forgotten his technical roots and can also be found combining technology with creativity in developing sound and imaging files for use personally and in his business.
Martin is very keen on music (playing and listening) of all sorts and when given the opportunity plays guitar and mouth organ with his brother and youngest son
Martin will admit though that his pursuit of enabling others to understand and learn that they can choose to change (and how to change if required) overrides all interests (save his family) and this can be seen and felt when you get the opportunity to work with him.
