Why Trainers Training?

To begin with, John Grinder was jointly responsible for the creation of NLP. With his colleague Richard Bandler, he developed the theory from scratch. He is a doctor of linguistics, a psychology scholar and an experienced speaker and trainer. As well as his academic achievements, he is a prolific author on subjects ranging from sales, negotiation, management and psychology and is considered to be the most respected practitioner of NLP on the planet.

Your choice for Trainer’s Training should be made after serious consideration. Your credentials are the first thing potential trainees will look at after you have launched yourself as a trainer. Those who are serious about looking for a trainer will know the name John Grinder and the fact that you have been tutored by him directly help you cement an authentic reputation for yourself. Choosing a training branch not directly associated with John may equip you with diluted, inaccurate or outdated theories, skills and applications.

Working alongside John Grinder in a mission to conserve quality in the field of NLP training is Carmen Bostic St Clair and Michael Carroll. John, Carmen and Michael have spent years perfecting the ultimate Trainer’s Training experience that stays faithful to the original ethos of the theory of NLP.

Carmen Bostic St Clair is a co-developer of New Code NLP and comes from a background of business and politics. She is currently a CEO, was formerly a senior political researcher and represented California on the Business Advisory Council. A former teacher who once held the coveted National Teacher of the Year Award in the USA, she is now an expert in corporate excellence, developing leadership models and learning techniques. She has worked with prestigious organizations such as NASA and the White House Committee of the Development of Small Business and possesses the rare skill of being able to instigate unconscious changes in people, even in large groups.

Michael founded and works as Course Director at the NLP Academy, he is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable NLP Trainers in the world. Michael brings his own upbeat, accessible style to what can be a heavy scientific study. He has not only a wealth of NLP experience, but also the fact he is living proof that one can set up and run a successful NLP Training business from the basis of these courses.

Join the Business NLP Academy and help spread Real NLP methods, techniques and skills to other individuals, businesses and organizations.

Criteria for Passing NLP Trainers Training

What to expect at Trainers Training

To be a trainer of the standard we expect at the Business NP Academy your knowledge of the discipline needs to be flawless. Your own NLP skills must be at a level where you are confident applying them in a range of situations.

During the Trainers Training course you will be, for the most part, working in groups of six where you will take turns in presenting and giving each other feedback. This will help you develop your own NLP skills into the ability to teach them to others.

Module I:is focussed on delivering presentations with NLP patterning. By the conclusion of the module you will give a 35 minute presentation to a group of your peers. This is done in an informal, constructive environment and is designed to gauge your skills for improvement rather than to mark them for success or failure.

Module II:is focussed on teaching NLP and delivering NLP presentations. Again, you will be required to give a 35 minute presentation using the techniques practiced in both modules. This time you will receive feedback and will be told how your presentation would have fared if you had delivered it as an assessment piece in Module III.

Module III: is the culmination of the first two modules and its purpose is to assess whether or not the skills you have learned are sufficient to qualify you as a trainer.

1. You will sit a written exam, on core NLP patterning, consisting of 2 papers over 5 hours.

The marking criteria is as follows:

69% and below: Fail

70 -75 %: Low pass

76% - 90%: Pass

90% and above: High pass

2. Design and deliver an NLP presentation with a demonstration

You will be graded either fail, low pass, pass, or high pass

3. Conduct an NLP teaching demonstration that is chosen for you by the certifier

You will be graded either fail, low pass, pass, or high pass

4. Present under challenging conditions

You will be graded either fail, low pass, pass, or high pass

The standards are high

If you fail one element of certification, you will be invited back in later to demonstrate competency.

If you are a low pass in two areas of the evaluation, you will also be invited back to demonstrate competency.

The ideal target is four high passes

Four passes will hold you in good stead

One low pass and three passes will also get you through

With the Business NLP Academy you can expect to receive the best instruction directly from the most respected people in the industry, admission into a community of NLP Trainers and knowledge of how to set up a successful NLP business of your own.

You can help mould the future of NLP with John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair’s and Michael Carroll’s Trainers Academy. You have our backing all the way.
